Sarah Huffman Stanifer was born and raised in southeastern Kentucky. After graduating from South Laurel High School, Sarah went on to obtain a degree in biology from Eastern Kentucky University, where she graduated with honors. She then went on to pursue a doctorate in Optometry from the University of Alabama at Birmingham. After graduation from UAB, she went on to complete a residency in ocular disease at University of Kentucky. Sarah is very happy to be back in her hometown of London, and is very excited to serve her community. She enjoys reading, cycling, and spending time with her husband, Zack, and their dogs, Specs and Milo.
