Dr. West was born and raised in Murray, KY. He received his undergraduate degree in biology from Murray State University. He went to the University of Kentucky College of Medicine for medical school. He then completed an internship in internal medicine and residency in ophthalmology at the Albert B. Chandler hospital at the University of Kentucky.
He joined Huffman and Huffman in 2020. His clinical interests include advanced techniques in cataract surgery, refractive cataract surgery, the medical and surgical treatment of glaucoma including minimally invasive glaucoma surgery, and the medical management of various ocular pathologies. He and his wife Christina have been married since 2006 and enjoy spending time with their two children, Nora and Henry.
